DSRS2
Streaming and Recording Processor

OVERVIEW:
The Datalux DSRS2 Recording & Streaming Processor System is a high-performance, multi-input AV appliance designed for simultaneous
recording, live streaming, and content distribution in professional environments such as classrooms, training facilities, auditoriums, control
centers and examination centers.
Equipped with multiple HDMI, component, and composite video inputs, the processor supports resolutions up to Full HD 1080p/60 and
includes integrated EDID management for seamless source compatibility. The unit features three independent H.264/AVC Ethernet outputs, an
HDMI program output, and supports both unicast and multicast streaming for flexible network distribution. Audio performance is enhanced by
an inbuilt DSP engine offering mixing, filtering, and compression for clean, professional-quality sound. Recording is supported on a 500 GB
internal SSD with the option to connect external USB storage up to 2 TB or record directly to a network storage directory. The processor also
supports audio capture as separate .m4a files for each recording session, making it ideal for examination and lecture capture applications.
For advanced production workflows, the processor offers dual PIP/PbP display capability, high-quality scaling, and the ability to customize
background images and text overlays. Up to 16 user-definable layout presets enable rapid switching between configurations. In addition to
hardware inputs, the unit can ingest up to two RTP/RTSP virtual streams and record up to four simultaneous sources.
Streaming flexibility includes dual independent streams, confidence monitoring, individual source streaming, and support for industry-standard
protocols such as RTMP/RTMPS push and RTP/RTCP, RTSP pull. Control is possible via RS-232, Ethernet, or the intuitive front-panel interface,
while I/O ports provide integration with external AV systems.
